DAFOE, George William Terence (Terry), Reg. No. 206

    26th Oct. 1937 - 2nd Jul. 2023

It is with the greatest sadness that we say goodbye to a kind and wonderful dad, grandad and great grandad. Dad will be deeply missed by his three daughters Kathy (Rob), Lorie, Barb (Garnet); his much-loved grandchildren Trevor (Nicole), Scott (Lisa), Tanner, Jesse (Amanda), Krista (Dennis), Kelly; and his great grandchildren Declan, Rylan, Alina, Emilia and Mackenzie.

He was predeceased by his wife Joan in 2019; and more recently his brother Bruce; sister Joan; and beloved son in law Brian all in 2023.

This incredible man will always be remembered for his generosity, his wicked sense of humour, his antique collections, his numerous police stories and his love of family.

Your kind messages of comfort and stories are deeply appreciated: https://www.arbormemorial.ca/glenwood/obituaries/george-william-terence-terry-dafoe/106194

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Zoe’s Animal Rescue, AARCS, or another animal rescue of your choice.

A private family memorial service will be held in the near future.

Terry Dafoe joined the Edmonton Police Department on April 6th, 1959 and retired, as a deputy chief, on May 6th, 1990.
